I’m a proud Washington, DC native who now calls the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast home. After relocating to Gulfport to be closer to family, I turned my lifelong love of photography into Deitra L. Jackson Photography LLC.
My passion for photography began as a child, inspired by my father, who faithfully documented our family memories. Later, he gave me my first 35mm film camera, and I quickly discovered that photographing people was what I loved most.
Today, I specialize in creating professional headshots and branding portraits that help people look confident, approachable, and authentic. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a client light up when they see themselves through my lens.
I believe everyone deserves photographs that reflect who they are at their very best.
